CONCEPT: Fanaticast (Reach Messaging)

Concept Summary

This project was going through ROI due diligence and investor green lighting process when I left RM.

FanatiCast is a unique and highly interactive platform which runs on top of technologies such as Apple TV, Google TV and smart televisions. It brings fans a new sports experience, currently not available on the market today. FanatiCast eliminates the need for fans to use multiple devices such as PCs, tablets and smartphones to complete their sporting event experience. The FanatiCast portal enables fans to interact with their favorite teams and sporting events in real-time. The portal integrates social shopping, or Mob Purchasing, combined with an interactive and customized sporting event experience. During sporting events, FanatiCasts' real-time deals create a community buying experience where more fans who buy equates to lower prices. Users also have the ability to customize an assortment of widgets including Fantasy Football, Facebook, Twitter and chat, giving the user a one stop shop for all their sporting event needs.

FanatiCast Interactive Features

Player 'Buy Now' Overlay. Upon a player's action on the field, for example, a TD catch, an overlay appears on the player enticing viewers to tap/click on the player. Viewers can also trigger such the Player 'Buy Now' Overlay on demand - for example, if n amount of viewers ask for Chris Samuels jersey to go on sale then the overlay appears. Actioning upon the overlay evokes the Apparel Deals Module. This widget is a default module of FanatiCast. 

Apparel Deals Widget. The apparel deal widget details a jersey/apparel deal on screen to the viewer. Details include: price points, time left on deal, how may people have purchased, purchases left before price drops and the ability to share deal via Facebook or Twitter. This widget is a default module of FanatiCast. 

Fanaticast ticker. Viewers can choose from an assortment of content to appear in Fanaticast ticker located at the bottom of the screen. Users can select news, fantasy player points, scores, apparel deals in progress, tweets and predictions. This widget is a default module of FanatiCast.

The Twitter widget allows users to tweet and follow multiple sports teams and athlete related twitter accounts.

The Facebook widget can post updates and follow multiple sports teams and athlete related Facebook accounts.

The Fantasy Football widget allows users to view their Fantasy Football league and opponents in real-time, or give the option to track a set of games in a scoreboard format.

SmackTalk allows users to log-in to various Instant Messaging/Chat accounts as well as text with other fans using the app and viewing the event.

The Predictor widget allows viewers to play along and vote on individual event predictions throughout the event (i.e. will next play be a run or pass, will Detroit score a touchdown before halftime). Viewers can also see how they are doing compared to other viewers, or friends in their circle. The Predictor widget allows users to earn discounts towards jersey/apparel purchases. This widget is a default module of FanatiCast.
