PROJECT: Oceanopolis (Reach Messaging)

Role:

Hired by Reach Messaging as GM of Product to be responsible for creating, developing and managing the product portfolio. Charged with meeting customer needs and driving aggressive business growth and profitability.

Challenge:

Hired by Greenopolis, a fast-growing technology platform in the recycling space, to build a Facebook game that rewards people for recycling online and in the community. Through the game, the company wanted to extend its reach into social media by offering a fun gaming experience that educates and rewards users for sustainable living.

Resolution:

Built and launched a game called Oceanopolis. In Oceanopolis, players were encouraged to maintain their environmental surroundings, comprised of individual islands, the ocean, and their friends habitats, by converting waste into treasure through recycling. The goal was to build a long-term sustainable community. The game had over 1.1MM daily players two months after launch.
