PROJECT: Restaurant App Platform (Reach Messaging)
Role:
Hired by Reach Messaging as GM of Product to be responsible for creating, developing and managing the product portfolio. Charged with meeting customer needs and driving aggressive business growth and profitability.
Challenge:
Launch a restaurant app platform that exceeded from a feature, cost and time to market perspective anything existing in the marketplace.
Resolution:
Based on research conducted in person and via phone with restaurant managers and consumers, built a platform to quickly and efficiently deliver restaurant apps. The first app launched was for The All American Steakhouse in Ashburn, VA. National franchise, Buca di Beppo, was being pitched when I left RM. App features included menus, specials, directions, polls, quizzes, “Ask The Manager,”, social media integration, surveys, car locator, photo gallery, event listings, fan wall, tip calculator, bill splitter, notifications, ad curtain and reviews.
