Seasonal business launched with wife that sells high-end hand-made wreaths. Leveraged social media outlets such as Twitter, Facebook , Pinterest and Etsy to generate 150 sales year one and increased sales by 230% year two. Also used Facebook ads and direct mail to generate brand awareness and sales. Business was promoted on local CBS affiliate ‘Deal Chicken’ show and showcased in VA Homes magazine as one of NOVA’s most creative and unique businesses.


My Role

  • Analyzed market place and determined that there was a need for business based on high demand for quality product, very few suppliers and an attractive margin
  • Created and managed all social media outlets including Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest
  • Created and managed e-commerce site on Etsy
  • Created brochure and all other marketing material
  • Researched landscape to help determine product price structure
